Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum was harassed by an unknown man who approached her, tried to kiss her, and touched her breast in front of a slow-to-react team.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon while the president was walking through the capital's center, surrounded by a crowd that looked on in astonishment without immediate reaction.
The harassment stopped when Juan José Ramírez Mendoza, head of the General Directorate of Aides-de-Camp, intervened.
The incident was captured on cell phone cameras by bystanders.
