California Democrats Urge Citizens to Vote on Prop 50
Assemblymember Gregg Hart, co-author of Proposition 50, encourages people to participate in the special election.
In response to Texas adding conservative seats to the House of Representatives, California Democrats, including Hart and State Senator Monique Limón, worked to introduce Prop 50.
"It is a really important election and I'm glad that we are going to be celebrating soon, the polls are still open, we want people to get out and vote,"
said Hart. He aims to inform voters that Proposition 50 allows temporary changes to Congressional Districts Maps.
- Prop 50 is the only issue on the Special Election ballot in California.
- Hart represents the 37th District, which was recently redistricted.
