Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, is recalling tens of thousands of Jeep vehicles due to a potential fire risk.
The issue is related to potential battery failure in certain plug-in hybrid models, with 19 reports of fires and one injury.
More than 375,000 SUVs are under the recall, with the majority being in the U.S.
Stellantis is cautioning vehicle owners not to recharge their batteries and to park the recalled SUVs away from structures and other vehicles until a fix is made.
Owners with recalled vehicles will be contacted about scheduling a service.
