Russian Warship Catches Fire in Occupied Crimea
A Russian Albatros-M warship burst into flames in Sevastopol, according to the Telegram channel Crimean Wind.
A Russian Albatros-M class anti-submarine ship, part of the Black Sea Fleet, caught fire at the Sukharnaya Bay pier, with photos and videos showing thick smoke rising from the vessel.
- The ship was identified as a Project 1124-M “Albatros-M” small anti-submarine ship.
- The Black Sea Fleet operates four such vessels: Muromets, Suzdalets, Kasimov, and Yeysk, built between 1982 and 1989.
Ukraine’s Group 13 commander stated that Kyiv turned the Black Sea into a danger zone for the Russian fleet.
