Questrade Launches Canada's Newest Bank
Questrade Financial Group has secured regulatory approval to launch Questbank, expanding its services into everyday banking.
Questbank will complement Questrade's wealth and investment services, challenging Canada's traditional banks alongside other fintechs.
"We're Canada's newest bank today," said Questrade chief executive Edward Kholodenko. "So Happy Birthday to Questbank."
The company received the final go-ahead from the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, paving the way for Canadians to have a new banking option.
