Newcastle United's New Sporting Director
Newcastle United's 2-0 Premier League win over Nottingham Forest has brought optimism to St James' Park.
Ross Wilson, the new sporting director, has been appointed, leaving Nottingham Forest behind. He previously held the same position at Rangers.
Wilson aims to replicate his success at Forest, where he helped the team clinch European football last season.
He will have a big role to play in how Newcastle assert their dominance in transfer windows moving forward.
Wilson previously brought Anthony Elanga to Forest for £15m, and the player now plays for Newcastle.
