Vontobel Divests Its Debt Capital Market Platform
Vontobel is selling Cosmofunding, a digital financing platform, to Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB).
The platform, launched in 2018, has financed over 1,000 projects with a total volume of more than 50 billion francs and has around 1,500 registered investors.
The sale is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026, with all employees, technology, and client relationships being transferred to ZKB.
Vontobel said the sale will sharpen its business portfolio and allow it to focus consistently on its "investment-led strategy"
The transaction aims to ensure a seamless transition for clients.
