The Holy Father has appointed Archbishop Emmanuel Obbo as the Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Jinja.
This appointment comes after the passing of Bishop Charles Martin Wamika, the Local Ordinary of the Jinja Episcopal See, on October 29 at the age of 72.

Archbishop Obbo is a Member of the Congregation of the Apostles of Jesus Missionaries (AJ) and the Archbishop of Uganda’s Tororo Metropolitan See.
