Tonnes of Greater Sydney's rubbish could be incinerated at Tomago, as the state faces a "waste and recycling crisis".
A potential energy from waste precinct has been identified in the suburb, and residents have until October 31 to submit their concerns to the Select Committee on Proposed Energy from Waste Facilities inquiry.
