Welshpool Restores Traditional Remembrance Parade
Welshpool Town Council has announced updates to this year's Remembrance commemorations, returning to a traditional parade format and enhancing coordination with veterans and community groups.
These changes follow a public meeting on September 25, where approximately 30 veterans, local group leaders, and residents shared their views on how to best honor those who served.
Remembrance Services in Welshpool
- Friday, November 7 – Schools' Service at Memorial Gardens (2pm – 2.30pm)
The Royal British Legion (Welshpool Branch) will hold a short ceremony at the Memorial Gardens, Howell Drive, as part of Welshpool's Remembrance commemorations.
