University of Kentucky women’s basketball student-athlete Jordan Obi has been chosen for the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year Preseason Top 20 Watch List, as announced by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
Obi, a native of Hartford, Connecticut, sat out last season due to an Achilles rupture. Prior to joining the University of Kentucky, she spent four seasons at Penn from 2021-24, where she averaged 13.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 0.9 steals per game in 83 games.
In her three seasons of action at Penn, Obi combined for 1,142 points, 88 3-pointers, 631 rebounds, 165 assists, 85 blocks, and 72 steals, becoming the 25th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points.
