Meridian Field Hockey Beats Kettle Run In Overtime
Meridian High School's field hockey team defeated Kettle Run Cougars 2-1 in overtime, punching their ticket to the states.
The game was a rematch of a previous encounter 12 days prior, where the Mustangs also emerged victorious. Emma Flanagan, who scored the only goal in the previous match, scored 90 seconds into overtime.
The first half was scoreless for both teams, until Zorah Randhawa scored for the Mustangs late in the third period.
