A sequel to the 2015 film The Last Witch Hunter is moving forward at Lionsgate, despite the first film receiving negative reviews and underperforming at the box office.
The sequel, titled The Last Witch Hunter 2: The Lion’s Oath, is eyeing a 2026 release date and will once again star Vin Diesel as immortal knight Kaulder.

Diesel shared an update on the sequel's progress on Instagram, citing "enduring enthusiasm" for the first film as the reason for the sequel's development.
