Samsung to Display Ads on High-End Refrigerators
Samsung, a competitor to Apple, is introducing ads to its "Family Hub" smart refrigerators, which feature integrated displays. These displays will show ads, taking advantage of the refrigerator's screen space.
The company confirmed a "pilot program" to offer promotions and curated advertisements to some fridge owners. Now, Samsung will provide ads to more users through a software update, starting with 2024 Family Hub refrigerators.
