Scott Woods, one of Canada's finest fiddlers, is preparing for his upcoming Christmas tour. When planning the tour, Woods reached out to former musical collaborators, Gary and Nadine Boles, to join him on the road.
Woods met with the Boles in Florida earlier this year, where they were enjoying their retirement and traveling in their motorhome.
"They are long retired and living the good life, travelling in the big motorhome,"Woods said in a phone interview with The Sault Star.
The Boles, who have worked with Woods on several albums and tours, were initially casual about the invitation. Woods informed them that vocalist Naomi Bristow, a regular tour partner, was unavailable due to recently giving birth, and their participation would be valued.
Notable stops on the Christmas tour include Sault and Bruce Mines. Woods prefers to maintain a peaceful atmosphere while touring, especially when visiting the U.S.
