Treat Dreams to Reimagine as Food Hall in 2026
Treat Dreams, a longstanding Ferndale business located at 22965 Woodward Ave., will undergo a transformation into a food hall next year.
According to Scott Moloney, owner of the ice cream shop for 15 years, the idea for this change has been in development for the past year. Moloney sought a solution to help cover the building's rent after a sandwich business previously operating at the site closed earlier this year.
The idea to make this change to Treat Dreams had been ruminating for the last year.
The food hall will feature five permanent stalls and one rotating stall, allowing multiple small food shops to operate under its roof.
