The Indigo Press has acquired the rights to publish Mayfly Season by Matthias Jügler, translated by Jo Heinrich.
Publisher Susie Nicklin purchased world English-language rights from Gesche Wendebourg at Penguin Germany.
The book is set to be published in B-format paperback on 14th May 2026.
The story takes place in 1978, near Leipzig, East Germany, where a couple, Katrin and Hans, face a devastating loss when they are informed of their newborn baby's death.
