OpenAI Offers Free ChatGPT Go for One Year to Indian Users
OpenAI is providing its ChatGPT Go plan for free to users in India for one year under a limited-time promotional offer.
The offer, which started on November 4, is available to new users who sign up during the promotional period, as well as existing ChatGPT Go subscribers in India.
ChatGPT Go, priced at less than $5 per month, was launched in India in August as OpenAI's most affordable paid subscription plan, and has since expanded to other countries in Asia.
India, with over 700 million smartphone users and more than a billion internet subscribers, is a key market for OpenAI.
OpenAI announced the promotion but did not specify how long the offer would remain available.
This move is part of OpenAI's efforts to expand in one of its top markets.
