Glīd Technologies: Revolutionizing Freight Movement
Kevin Damoa, founder of Glīd Technologies, identified a crucial issue in the logistics industry: the complex process of moving containers from ships to freight trains.
Damoa's experience with this problem began at 17 as a U.S. Army enlistee, where he was tasked with loading tanks and vehicles onto railroads.
It was the beginning of his love story with logistics.
His passion for logistics persisted through his 13-year stint with the U.S. Air Force National Guard and various roles in the private sector, including SpaceX and Northrup Grumman.
In 2022, while working at Serial 1, Damoa revisited the road-to-rail problem and founded Glīd to provide a solution.
