Noah Dettwiler, a 20-year-old Swiss motorcyclist, is in a serious but stable condition after a horrific crash during the formation lap of the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Dettwiler was struck by Spanish rider Jose Antonio Rueda at high speed and suffered several cardiac arrests, significant blood loss, and damage to his spleen and lungs, as well as an exposed fracture in his leg.
“They fought to save his life. Noah was seriously injured, fortunately he is now in stable condition. But it is too early to declare him out of danger.”
