Furusato Takes Maiden Moto3 Victory at Sepang
Moto3's Grand Prix started later than scheduled due to an incident during the sighting lap involving Noah Dettwiler and Jose Antonio Rueda.
Both riders were taken to hospital by medical helicopter, causing the race to be delayed until the helicopter's return.
Rueda was confirmed alert and awake in hospital with contusions and a suspected hand fracture.
CIP Green Power stated: "Our rider Noah Dettwiler was involved in a serious accident... He will need to undergo multiple surgeries. We kindly ask you to respect his privacy."
Dettwiler's team requested privacy, and no further details were shared.
