Productivity gains, China's domination of the wool market, environmental legislation and social licence are top-tier issues for Australian Wool Innovation director Michelle Humphries.
Dr Humphries, who was elected to the AWI board in 2019, is one of the AWI board nomination committee's recommended candidates, and has also been recommended by Wool Producers Australia.
She is an experienced sheep veterinarian, the owner of a Merino breeding enterprise at Jerilderie, NSW, and operates a sheep reproduction technology company.
