Dam Store Announces Winter Hours
The Dam Store in downtown Mankato is introducing new hours for the winter season.
Historically, the cafe would close during winter, but after relocating from the Rapidan Dam due to last year's flooding, the store is now experimenting with winter hours.
Starting from January 1, the cafe will be open from 6 a.m. on Tuesdays through Sundays.
"It's all new to us, so we'll just figure it out along the way and see how it goes,"
co-owner David Hruska said, adding that they are still determining what works best in their new location.
The Dam Store moved to its new location on Front Street in October last year.
