Riders of the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry route are advised to plan ahead for a series of cancellations early next year.
Washington State Ferries has announced a timeline for construction work affecting the route, which includes repairing and repositioning the Mukilteo terminal's west wing wall, damaged in 2022 from a rough landing.
The repairs will require a crane to be moved into the slip, and work must stop if a protected marine mammal is spotted, with good visibility needed.
No protected marine mammal should be disturbed during the construction.
