Minor Injury Traffic Collision at Highway 101 North
A traffic collision with minor injuries occurred at Highway 101 North and Klamath Beach Road Offramp.
A female driver was found on the side of the road with a dog, but stated she was alone in the vehicle. She reported driving off the road into a ravine around 10:30 AM and went down 100 feet into the water.
- The vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, was located at mile marker 136.8 after initial confusion about the location.
- Emergency services were dispatched to the scene and found the vehicle 150 feet down an embankment on its wheels.
- The California Highway Patrol requested the Department of Transportation to close the second lane northbound.

No serious injuries were reported. The scene was photographed before the vehicle was recovered.
