Nearly 2,000 people, including the ABC7 Memory Makers, participated in the San Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer's at Bayfront Park in Mission Bay on Saturday.
More than 132,000 people are living with Alzheimer's or some form of dementia in the Bay Area.
ABC7 News anchor Amanda del Castillo and reporter Zach Fuentes emceed the event, with ABC7 being a proud media sponsor of the annual walk.
As of Sunday afternoon, more than $900,000 have been raised for research, support and care programs.
The walk was free to participate in, but donations are encouraged, allowing the Alzheimer's Association to provide 24/7 care and support for families.
