Residents across the Southern Inlands are advised to prepare for hot and windy weather, which may cause falling trees and powerlines.
A severe weather warning has been issued by the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), forecasting damaging winds across the region on Wednesday, October 22.
- High chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening
- Average wind speeds of 55 to 65 km/h
- Possible wind gusts of around 90km/h
The BoM statement describes the day as "hot and gusty" across parts of the Southern Tablelands and Southern Highlands.
