Indy Fuel Gears Up for Military Appreciation Night
The Indy Fuel hockey team is set to play against the Toledo Walleye at the Fishers Event Center on Military Appreciation Night, following a sellout opener on Friday night.
The game will start at 7 p.m. on Saturday. The Fuel's season opener against the Fort Wayne Komets ended in a 4-0 loss.
Assistant Coach Stephon Thorne expressed his appreciation for the fan support and the welcoming community in Indiana.
- The team's game day routine includes preparing video materials and holding pre-game meetings.
- Optional morning skates are also available for players.
Thorne shared his positive experiences of moving to Indiana from Canada, highlighting the Hoosier hospitality and community support.
The Indy Fuel are part of the ECHL, formerly the East Coast Hockey League.
