Flyers' Offense Sputters in 5-2 Loss to Jets

The Philadelphia Flyers (1-2-1) hosted the Winnipeg Jets (3-1-0) at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Thursday, after winning their home opener against the Florida Panthers on Monday night.

The Flyers had a 1-1 record against the Jets last season. Before Thursday's game, defenseman Cam York was activated off the injured reserve, and Emil Andrae was sent down to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Samuel Ersson was given the nod between the pipes on Thursday for his second game of the season, following a strong showing by Dan Vladar against the Panthers.
