Family's Cat Joins Vacation After 100-Mile Van Roof Ride

A Pennsylvania family's vacation plans took an unexpected turn when they discovered their cat, Ray Ray, on the roof of their van after driving 100 miles from home.

The Denardo family was headed to New Hampshire for a marathon and then to New York City, having said their goodbyes to their pets and locked up the house. However, Ray Ray had other plans.

“We had driven for two hours and needed to stop for gas,” Mara Denardo said. “My husband gets out of the car to pump the gas and is like, ‘The cat is on the roof.’”

The family was in disbelief and panic before bursting into laughter at the absurdity of the situation. Ray Ray had survived 100 miles of wind, bumps, and highway traffic on the roof of the van.
