Mateusz Gamrot's Statement After Loss to Charles Oliveira
Mateusz Gamrot, UFC lightweight, released his first statement following his loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC Fight Night Rio.
Gamrot had a chance to make a statement against the former two-time UFC Lightweight Champion, but ultimately lost. He did manage to takedown Oliveira during the fight, but it wasn't enough as Charles outclassed him.
The fight was initially scheduled between Rafael Fiziev and Oliveira, but Fiziev was forced out due to injury. Gamrot stepped up to replace him, but the loss shattered his chance to enter the top five in the division.
