GRI Appoints New Country Manager for the Philippines
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) has appointed Vincent de Paz as its new country manager for the Philippines.
With almost two decades of experience in energy, finance, and sustainability, De Paz will lead GRI's efforts to help local companies develop sustainability reports and manage their environmental and social impacts.
De Paz's appointment comes as the Philippine corporate regulator, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), prepares listed firms for mandatory sustainability reporting by 2026, with many companies already aligning their reports with GRI and other international frameworks.
De Paz will spearhead the international independent standards organisation’s bid to help local companies develop sustainability reports.
