Pornhub Ceases Operations in Arizona
Pornhub has ceased its operations in Arizona after a state law passed requiring adult websites to verify their users’ age.
“It just really stood out as something that was a big positive to try to give parents one more tool to help protect their children,”
said State Representative Nick Kupper, who helped introduce the law. The legislation mirrors that of 23 other states who have passed similar laws to protect children from pornography.
Pornhub has responded in a similar manner in each of these states, blocking users from accessing the site while championing free speech.
