Nice-feeling air will persist on Thursday, with above-normal afternoon temperatures.
According to WVUE, the week started with low humidity and cool mornings, but this is expected to change in the coming days. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 80s for the rest of the week, with some areas potentially hitting 90 degrees, which is about 10 degrees above normal.
Morning lows will warm slightly to the widespread 60s as humidity slowly rises, leading to morning fog for the rest of the week. The humidity will peak on Friday into Saturday ahead of a weak cold front.
A cold front will trigger a few storms late on Saturday, with a 40% chance of occurrence. It is recommended to monitor the radar for outdoor plans.
