Charles Manson Follower Denied Parole
Patricia Krenwinkel, a follower of cult leader Charles Manson, has been denied parole by Gavin Newsom.
Gavin Newsom signed a reversal to the decision to grant parole, citing that Krenwinkel still poses a danger to society.
When considered as a whole, I find the evidence shows that she currently poses an unreasonable danger to society if released from prison at this time.
This is not the first time Newsom has blocked Krenwinkel's parole, having done so in 2022 due to public safety concerns.
Krenwinkel was involved in the killing of pregnant actress Sharon Tate and four others in August 1969.
