The Head of the Charles Regatta returns for its 60th anniversary, with races starting Friday at 7:45 a.m.
Races will run until just before 11 a.m. on Friday, and continue on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 7:45 a.m. and running through late afternoon.

Attendees recommend wearing walking shoes and taking a stroll along the course to take in the sights and sounds.
However, be aware that the farther down the course you go, the more crowded it gets.
The pros recommend checking out the hospitality areas, with the Weld Exhibition being a popular destination for food and drinks.
Vendors can be found at Riverbend Park, which also offers a good viewing area for the races between the Weeks Footbridge and the Anderson Bridge.
