UK's First Solar Subscription Service Launches in Scotland
Sunsave, the UK's first authorised solar subscription service, has expanded into the Scottish market.
The expansion is backed by a partnership with Edinburgh-based Snugg, a home energy plan business. Snugg offers personalised home energy plans, which will now include solar savings estimates from Sunsave.
- Fixed monthly payments start at £69 per month
- No upfront cost on installation
- Customers across England and Wales have seen net savings of over £685 a year on energy bills
Most customers' savings exceed their subscription cost.
The launch follows a £113m fundraising round last month to continue scaling the service. The Home Energy Scotland grant and loan have fueled growth in residential solar take-up since 2017, with over 5% of Scottish households installing panels.
