Mental Health Center Opens "Care Closet" for Patients in Need
The Southern Iowa Mental Health Center has introduced a new "care closet" to provide essential items beyond medical care.
It may look like it's just clothing and supplies, but it's truly a lifeline for people that come to us in need.
According to Care Coordinator Kindra Decker, the care closet offers resources to patients outside of the center's walls, providing an all-around access to care.
- 24/7 access to a variety of items
- Clothing for men, women, and children
- Winter coats, among other essential items
The care closet serves a purpose beyond material items, aiming to alleviate patients' needs and provide comprehensive care.
