Charges Upgraded to First-Degree Murder in Jefferson City Shooting
The Cole County Prosecuting Attorney's Office announced that Michael A. Davis, 40, has had his charges upgraded to First-Degree Murder.
Davis is accused of shooting two women, Shawna Davis, 39, and Sofie Mulcahey, 31, in a car in Jefferson City. Both women were transported to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, where they succumbed to their injuries.

Davis will be formally arraigned at his next court appearance on Friday.
He now faces severe charges for the deaths of the two women.
