Jonathan Rea's Race One performance at the Circuito Estoril was affected by brake issues midway through the race.
Rea had a positive Saturday at the Estoril World Superbike Round, using Nicolo Bulega as a marker in Superpole to secure a sixth-place grid slot for Race One and the Superpole Race.
In Race One, Rea got off to a good start, fighting with Alvaro Bautista for the final podium place, but brake issues caused him to slip back to sixth place.
