Chaparral Ranch in Woodside Replaced with New Vendor
The San Mateo County Parks Department has approved a contract with Excel Equestrian, a new horse-boarding vendor for Wunderlich Park, replacing Chaparral Ranch in November.
The selection of Excel Equestrian comes after the department opened a request for proposals in April, with applicants including Chaparral Corporation and Over The Moon Eventing.
Excel Equestrian, a Redwood City-based vendor, currently operates out of Wunderlich Park’s Folger Stables and was approved by the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors with a two-year probationary contract.
