The Los Angeles Lakers will play Luka Doncic in two preseason games, while Marcus Smart will make his debut against the Golden State Warriors.
After a week off, the Lakers return to the court on Sunday night, hosting the Warriors at Crypto.com Arena. Their final four preseason games will be played over the next week, before opening the regular season against the Warriors at home.
The team has been cautious with Luka Doncic, following his EuroBasket run with Slovenia, and has dealt with minor injuries to Marcus Smart, Maxi Kleber, and Adou Thiero, who all missed the first two preseason games.
The Lakers can use as much time on the court together as possible to build chemistry.
Author's note: Lakers prepare for regular season with cautious approach.
