This year's harvest was marked by variability and challenging weather conditions, with some growers reporting higher than average tonnages and others near failure.
The impact of weather is mostly short-lived for those outside the agricultural sector, but for growers, it has significant effects on their businesses and livelihoods.
Following the wet weather of 2024's harvest, the limited margins within which many growers operate are becoming apparent.
