M4 Closed Eastbound After Vehicle Fire
Drivers are facing long delays on the M4 due to a vehicle fire that closed the eastbound carriageway.
The incident occurred between J14 (Hungerford) and J13 (Chieveley) in Berkshire, with two of three lanes closed eastbound and initially one lane closed westbound between J13 and J14. However, all lanes have since reopened on the M4 westbound.
Diverted traffic is advised to follow the hollow circle diversion symbol via the A338, A4, and A34 roundabouts to reach the M4 J13 interchange.
Follow the A338 to the A4 roundabout, turn left and follow the A4 to the A34 interchange, then use the 2nd exit at the A34 roundabout to follow the A34 to the M4 J13 interchange.
