Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed in 2004 Disappearance of Jennifer and Adrianna Wix
The family of Jennifer and Adrianna Wix has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the last people known to have seen them alive.
Jennifer, 21, and her 2-year-old daughter, Adrianna, disappeared in 2004 after living with Jennifer's boyfriend, Joey Benton, and his parents, Joseph Benton Sr. and Cynthia Benton, in Robertson County.
For years, the Bentons denied any knowledge of the pair's disappearance. However,
Jennifer's mother, Kathy Nale, told FOX 17 News the case has been revived by an alleged admission by Joey Benton - one that she says has changed everything.
The lawsuit marks a significant development in the case, which has gone cold for over two decades.
