Hamas Releases Israeli Hostages, Trump Receives Standing Ovation

President Trump received a warm welcome in Israel, declaring the Gaza war over. As part of a cease-fire deal, Hamas released the last 20 living Israeli hostages.

In exchange, Israel is expected to release nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. The released hostages, all men mostly in their 20s and 30s, were handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross and then to the Israeli military.

"You are coming home,"

Einav Zangauker told her son, Matan Zangauker, 25, in a video call shortly after his release. The Israeli military is flying the hostages by helicopter from southern Israel to hospitals in the Tel Aviv area.
