Canadian Music Stars Collaborate on FIFA World Cup-Themed Album
The FIFA World Cup is coming to Canada in 2026, with matches hosted in Toronto, Vancouver, and 14 other North American cities. Canada Soccer revealed a new musical project featuring some of the country's top artists to celebrate the event.
The Perfect Pitch Project
The project, called Perfect Pitch, brings together renowned Canadian musicians including Alessia Cara, Charlotte Cardin, Loud Luxury, Nelly Furtado, The Tragically Hip, and Zeds Dead. They are working with Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da to create the album.
“The energy around this project has been incredible. It’s inspiring to see so many iconic Canadian artists come together. What we’re creating isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural statement. The music represents every corner of the country, and I’m proud of how collaborative and inclusive the process has been,” Boi-1da said in a release.
Album Content and Release
The album will include original music, re-imagined tracks, and unique collaborations showcasing Canada's diverse musical talent. It is scheduled for release before the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off across North America in June.
