Samira Wiley and Jin Ha Join Broadway Revival of "Proof"
The Broadway revival of David Auburn’s acclaimed play Proof, directed by Tony Award winner Thomas Kail, will feature original music by Kris Bowers, scenic design by Teresa L. Williams, costume design by Dede Ayite, lighting design by Amanda Zieve, sound design by Justin Ellington and Connor Wang, and hair and wig design by Mia Neal. Casting is led by Daniel Swee.
Main Cast and Premiere Date
- Samira Wiley, an Emmy and SAG Award winner, will make her Broadway debut this spring as Claire.
- Grammy nominee Jin Ha returns to the Broadway stage as Hal.
- Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle are also starring in the production.
- The show opens at the Booth Theatre on March 31, 2026.
Samira Wiley's Recent Work
A Juilliard graduate, Wiley recently appeared on the London stage in the Donmar Warehouse's production of Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel. She has also performed at the National Theatre in Blues For An Alabama Sky and starred Off-Broadway in the 2016 play Daphne’s Dive at Signature Theatre.
