Inspired by a true story, Lucy Liu delivers a career-redefining performance as a mother facing dire circumstances to save her troubled teenage son, played by Lawrence Shou. As her son’s dark obsessions escalate and time slips away, she confronts impossible decisions about how far she will go and what she must sacrifice.
