G2 Esports Scrim Performance at Worlds 2025

Scrim Overview
Between October 3rd and their quarterfinal elimination by Top Esports on October 30th, G2 completed an intense scrim schedule. They played 35 scrim blocks, totaling 129 games, achieving a 54.2% winrate with 70 wins and 59 losses.
Regional Scrim Performance
Examining results against various regions reveals G2's relative comfort and struggles on stage:
- LPL and LTA as Challenging Regions: G2 struggled the most against teams from the LPL and LTA.
- Their only notable win against the LPL was a best-of-one victory over BiliBili Gaming in Round 2.
- Invictus Gaming dealt G2 their toughest defeat early on with a 1–6 scrim block loss.
- Against the LTA, G2 faced FlyQuest three times, winning only in the crucial on-stage match.
- Strong Performance vs South Korea (LCK): G2 scrimmed Korean teams the most, often performing well, although Hanwha Life Esports was the only tournament team they did not scrim.
